HISTORY

Kearny Thistle United a grassroots non profit (501c3) youth soccer club built on the proud tradition of Kearny Soccer and its three recently merged clubs: Thistle FC, Kearny United and Kearny Soccer Academy (formerly Benfica Soccer Club).

We are dedicated to providing athletic, social, and professional opportunities for our youth. Most important in any youth sports organization are the boys and girls who participate, the coaches who coach them, and the parents who support them. Through soccer, we hope to continue to foster friendship, team spirit, sportsmanship, and above all pride in our Kearny community, our State and our great Country. Kearny Thistle United looks forward to continuing to promote this wonderful game we all love.
